Alonzo Landen Jenks, son of George Alonzo Jenks and Rebecca Jenks, married Mary Lillian Wainright, daughter of Mary Jane (Turner) and William Wainright. Alonzo Jenks is listed as living in Pierce township in Lawrence County in 1910, with the occupation of photographer. By 1920 he is listed in Charleston, Mississippi County, Missouri, with his business being a studio. He's still in Charleston in 1930, living with his mother-in-law and son-in-law Lon Stader, who married his daughter Mabel. Other children include A. L. Jenks and May Fay Jenks. Mary Lillian's father, William Wainright is listed as a Dry Goods merchant in Monett in 1900. Both the Jenks and Wainright families come from Shelbina in Shelby County Missouri.
